Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera?s patient-focused settings.

• Unit Demographics
  • 16-bed observational unit
    • Wide variety of patient types!!! Goal for patients is <2 days ?Length of Stay?
      • Non-emergent chest pain, ERCP, TIA, kidney stones, 24-hour EEG, long-term trials, appendectomy?s, generalized dizziness and/or weaknesses w/o a known root cause
      • Preferred med/surg and orthopedics overflow unit
    • Preferred overflow unit for stroke patients ? ALL staff are NIH certified, team works hand-in-hand with neurology providers
