Position HighlightsStudent Loan Repayment: This Registered Nurse (RN) position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Job SummaryThe Hepatology Clinic Registered Nurse provides for the delivery of professional nursing care, and has responsibility for coordinating clinical aspects of the hepatology patient care.
Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary hepatology and transplant team, working with patients and their families.
Provides care in a compassionate and tactful manner in order to achieve excellence and continuity inpatient care.
As a Registered Nurse in the Hepatology/Liver Disease clinic, you will provide care to patients who suffer from liver cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, hepatitis C and liver cancer.
An RN in this role assesses, triages, and provides nursing consultation, health education and performs follow-up and care coordination during face-to-face encounters or using telecommunications technologies during encounters.
Treat And MonitorLiver Cirrhosis Fatty Liver Disease Hepatitis C Liver Carcinoma
Education and/or Experience
Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
8:00am-5:00pm; 64hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$26.25-39.25 per hour
