Avera St. Mary’s is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) – Specialty Nurse in the Outpatient Services looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care, in the Outpatient Treatment Center (OTC) setting.
• The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards, and will utilize the nursing process.
• The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel.
• This position is responsible for serving as the primary Registered Nurse delivering care to the OTC patients.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s Degree is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Current licensure in the State of South Dakota as a Registered Nurse or have an RN compact license is preferred.
• Certification in specialty is encouraged.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday; 48 hours every two weeks
  • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Occasional weekend (1 weekend of call per month)
  • Occasional call time (1 weekend of call per month)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $31.00 - $46.50 per hour
