Job Summary

• The Patient Care Technician performs duties relative to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse. Organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport and point-of-care testing procedures following established standards and practices.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• On the job training provided. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• This position requires you to be 16 years of age or older.

Work Schedule

• PRN, as needed

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
