Job Summary

• Supervises and markets the Speech, Physical, and Occupational programs: may evaluate and treat patients referred by Physician for therapy services applicable to background education.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) or above from an accredited four-year college or university; degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech or other related therapy program required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a staff therapist required.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.

License/Certification/Registration

• Licensed by the State of South Dakota.
• Meets requirements for therapy services applicable to background information.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
• Occasional weekends, occasional holidays, occasional call time
