Job Summary

The Surgery Scheduler performs diverse secretarial duties as they relate to the surgical department. The surgery scheduler is responsible for the computer transactions required for scheduling and maintaining and disseminating an accurate surgery schedule, acquisition, retention, and organization of documentation, and will provide clerical services for the department as indicated. The surgery scheduler performs reception duties for all medical personnel and visitors.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of medical secretary school preferred.
• Two or more years of secretarial experience in a similar work environment preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $19.25 - $24.25 per hour
