Job Summary

Regularly performs complex and sensitive pharmacy technology-related tasks using discretion and judgment, serves as resource in such situations for pharmacy staff and formulates documents and reports for director of pharmacy technology. Coordinates administrative support of pharmacy services, and manages affiliated inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services in accordance with professional standards, regulatory and licensing agency policies, and federal and state laws related to the practice of pharmacy. Collaborates with management personnel from system affiliates to coordinate and integrate the delivery of pharmacy services across the full continuum of patient care. Assures maintenance of appropriate records. Coordinates day-to-day activities associated with the acquisition and distribution of pharmaceuticals within the entire Avera pharmacy system.

Education and/or Experience Work Schedule

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent healthcare computer systems experience required.
• Computer database management skills required.
• Background in hospital business operations preferred.
• Project leadership experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $31.75 - $48.00 per hour
