PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITIONPURPOSE: The Turn DownAttendant is responsible for creating a welcoming and comfortable atmospherefor our guests by preparing guest rooms for the evening. This role is vital inensuring a memorable and luxurious experience, with meticulous attention todetail and a commitment to outstanding service.
MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: - Performevening turndown service for assigned guest rooms, including tidying up theroom, refreshing amenities, and creating a restful environment.
- Ensureall guest room standards are met, including cleanliness, arrangement, andpresentation.
- Replenishguest supplies such as water, towels, and toiletries.
- Assistin maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and publicareas.
- Respondto guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaboratewith housekeeping and guest services teams to provide seamless service.
- The Lodge at Whitefish Lake's standards of excellence and adhere to the ForbesTravel Guide criteria.
- Emptyinggarbage, removing dirty linens and towels upon request.
- Alwayscarries a radio and responds to any amenity delivery requests.
- Reportsnecessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
- Assistswith housekeeping as needed for Daily Housekeeping Service for in-house guests.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Followsall safety and sanitation policies.
- Assistsother departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY - Operating Housekeeping equipment suchas vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.
- Ability and willingness to adhere toall Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.
