Job Description
Our customer in Crawfordsville IN is looking to add a Manufacturing Supervisor to their team. The ideal candidate would have experience in a manufacturing environment and is a self starter. Experience with leading a team and communication between departments is helpful. This would be a swing shift role that rotates between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift every 4 weeks. Great opportunity for someone who has shift flexibility!
Provide daily leadership to the department
Work on setting daily crewing assignments and resolving crewing issues
Focus on safety through behavior based observations and actions
Monitor quality through the shift
Set clear performance expectations and the beginning and through the duration of the shift
Conduct process checks every 2 hours at each line of responsibility
Assist the crews on maximizing efficiency and productivity through the shift
Provide trouble shooting and decision making skills to assist operators and crews to overcome performance inhibitors
Work with department Manager to identify opportunities to maximize efficiency and productivity
Participate in Continuous Improvement related projects
