Accountant – Seattle, WA.
$40-44/hr.
M-F, hybrid 3x a week on site
Length of assignment: 3-5 month contract

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- We are seeking an Accountant for a lumber & distribution company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in financial reporting and accounting with large companies.
- Assist with SEC and internal financial reporting, including preparation of 10-K and 10-Q documents
- Support the Investor Relations Team in preparing Earnings materials
- Assist with financial closing activities, such as preparing journal entriesWork with your peers to identify and implement process improvements
- Analyze complex financial statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and present working papers and accurate support documentation to leaders
- Support audit requirements including internal, external and compliance audits
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting related field
- 2-4 years of public accounting experience with SEC client exposure
- SAP experience
- Heavy financial reporting experience
