Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create and maintain detailed supplier forecasts for raw materials based on production planning
- Develop, and manage day to day ordering processes and logistics from purchase to receipt of goods and/or services.
- Purchase order entry and submission to suppliers/vendors
- Verify purchase order acknowledgements
- Confer with vendors on order status to eliminate delays
- Resolve problems regarding deliveries and discrepant materials
- Schedule deliveries and manage changes
- Manage inventory levels to target expectations
- Track vendor performance to plan
- Systematically approach orders to continually refine processes
- Provide world class customer support to internal and external teams.
- Update in-process purchase orders for revised quantities and delivery dates
- Prepare KPI reports for vendor performance and on-time delivery
- Provide back-up for other departmental tasks
- Provide feedback to Production Scheduling on material availability
- Works closely with the Procurement Team to have a working knowledge of approved vendors and materials, operating within the scope of established contracts and/or purchase agreements.
- Assists with ordering processes within all Mahou USA businesses
- Professionally represents Founders at industry related events; some travel is required.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One and Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to run reports, extract data, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and SAP platforms
- Understanding of supply chain and logistic concepts
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices
- Ability to recognize innovative opportunities
- In depth knowledge of vendor relationships
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
