AVIAN LLC is Hiring a Program Analyst (Test Resource Manager) Near Patuxent River, MD

Overview:

AVIAN is searching for a Program Analyst/Test Resource Manager (TRM) to support the Test & Evaluation Management for Programs and Operations contract. This position will apply experience in Naval Flight Testing to properly represent the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Test and Evaluation (T&E) competency and advise the Program Manager on any T&E subject.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs tasks with little or no guidance
  • Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise
  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
  • Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management
  • Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems
  • Leads the execution of complex tasks
  • Resource scheduling and tracking
  • Knowledge and experiece with logistics integration
  • Experience with munitions, association equipment and requirments
  • Travel to support R&D efforts
  • Program Management Experience
Qualifications:
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to Naval systems. A Bachelors Degree may be substituted for 4 years of work of experience and a Masters Degree an addition 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
