We currently have an immediate need for a Oracle SCM Solution Architect for Gurgaon, India

About the Role:

The Oracle SCM Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining functional and technical solutions to meet diverse business requirements within the Supply Chain, Distributions, and Manufacturing domains.

The Oracle SCM Solution Architect will provide invaluable expertise in assessing project impacts, identifying risks, and calculating costs/benefits for potential solutions. This role will be instrumental in addressing root causes of production issues, ensuring seamless application support, and resolving complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement functional and technical solutions to meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide functional and testing expertise in Supply Chain, Distributions, and Manufacturing areas.
  • Assess project impact of system changes on users, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and benefits of alternate designs; calculate costs/benefits of potential actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
  • Identify and address root causes of production problems and resolve application support issues.
  • Formulate and document requirements, design specifications, and test plans for extensions to Supply Chain applications, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
  • Develop Configurator models with customized UI and Configurator extension rules.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Configurator Extensions associated APIs, configurators CZ schema, and validation rules.
  • Import items from BOM to Configurator, build model setups, and define rules and customization User Interface in Configurator.
  • Develop Configurator Extensions to implement custom functionality.
  • Create and bind Configurator extension rules.
  • Debug Configurator model issues.
  • Document as-is and to-be business processes, configuration scripts and other associated functional/technical specifications.
  • Maintain and support (level 2 & 3) the Oracle EBS (12.2.11) modules.
  • Strong experience in Order to Cash (Order Management, Shipping, Inventory, Receivables), Procure to Pay (Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, EDI, WIP, Payables etc.), Oracle Quoting and related boundary tools.
  • Provide user support, application maintenance, reporting, and troubleshooting of functional issues and transactions.
  • Analyze and debug OM, Shipping, Purchasing reports.
  • Assist the application support group in regular operations and system-related process improvements to meet end-users' needs.
  • Analyze interfaces and integration points. 
  • Debug B2B errors by analyzing Supply documents, associated EDI XML files and work towards resolution by coordinating with collaborating partners.
  • Setup and change configurations within the Oracle OM/SCM Modules.
  • Work closely with business users on process improvements.
  • Collaborate with external support/consulting companies on incident management, requirement management, and change management services.
  • Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging.
  • Follow through with commitments and assume additional responsibilities without being asked.
  • Provide weekly status reports.
  • Open and manage SR service request tickets.
  • Facilitate resolution on period closure issues.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Must have excellent Supply Chain background with a very good understanding of the Order-To-Cash with 12 years’ experience in Oracle E-Business Applications 12.1 or 12.2 including Oracle Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory Management, iProcurement, Advance Pricing, AME, Configurator and Quoting.
  • At least 2 full life cycle Oracle implementation of Oracle configurator / SCM from Planning through Go Live
  • Should have working knowledge on Global order Promising (GOP), Available to promise (ATP) rules setup, Assemble to Order (ATO), Pick to Order (PTO).
  • A blend of 80% functional and 20% technical skills is preferred.
  • Working knowledge on SQL and PLSQL
  • Solid experience in understanding Oracle Apps Data Model for the Order Management, Advanced Pricing and Shipping Execution. Key API's and data flow between modules, tables, Order Management Workflows.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team management and oral/written communication skills.
  • Must be good in troubleshooting without additional help.
  • Work schedule is 4PM to 1 AM IST
