Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in aircraft cabinetry and woodworking, focusing on wood veneers. Key responsibilities encompass the meticulous execution of tasks such as sanding and applying clear coats over veneers, staining veneers, performing touch-ups, and achieving a flawless finish through polishing and buffing.

Responsibilities:

• Work with wood veneers, ensuring meticulous sanding, staining, and precise clear coat application.
• Execute touch-up work on veneers to uphold superior quality finishes.
• Apply skills in polishing and buffing to attain the desired surface appearance.
• Understand and adhere to SQK (squeak and rattle) standards in aircraft cabinetry.
• Ensure unwavering compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in aircraft cabinetry or a related field.
• Proficiency in working with wood veneers and clear coats.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks such as sanding, staining, touch-up, polishing, and buffing.
• SQK worker certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in exterior painting and clear coat application within the aircraft or auto industry is an advantageous asset.
• Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour
