General Summary:
Fabricate and refurbish aircraft interior cabinetry with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions:

• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft cabinetry with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to fabricate cabinetry from scratch.
• Strip laminate or veneer coverings from existing cabinets with minimal supervision and without damaging substrates.
• Cut, fit and trim laminate or veneer coverings as required with minimal supervision
• Repair damaged cabinetry as directed by the Cabinet Shop Supervisor or Cabinet Crew Chief.
• Good knowledge of Clients work instructions and process

• Reads, writes, speaks and understands English fluently.
• Visual acuity correctable to 20/20.
• Works in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, noisy environments.
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes.

Other:

• Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements.
• Must possess the minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned.
• Regularly scheduled attendance required.
• Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as directed.
• Knowledge of shop tools.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two plus years Cabinet and woodworking experience.
• One year experience in light to medium sized business jet, preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
