Job Summary

Our Dispatchers focus in coordinating and communicating information to facilitate the deployment of crew to meet flights, services as needed, and emergencies. This position must have strong communication, planning, and professionalism abilities with scheduling crews for flights. Work closely with airline clients in coordinating and allocating teams to flights to perform services related the operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all flights related to cabin service including lavatory servicing.
  • Assign flights to cabin leads and lav agents utilizing SMARTRACK Dispatching application.
  • Monitors the operation in partnership with other lines of business and adjusts the necessary resources to accomplish required cabin services as circumstances change.
  • Coordinates service callbacks and communicates any issues with DL operations and MTC.
  • Uses radio, phone, and/or computer dispatching tools to ensure proper information and data is relayed to appropriate parties.
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
  • Communicate efficiently with Delta, crews, tower, and upper management on daily reports as needed
  • Make arrangements for accommodations when flight delays occur
  • Receive, report, and resolve customer inquiries while cooperating with the management team
  • Handle phone traffic
  • Other duties may be assigned

Key Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Airport operation administrative, customer service, or similar experience preferred

What you will need

  • Must be able to speak English and Spanish
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain emotional control
  • Must have excellent listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
