Job Responsibilities
Team Leader – Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of a group of relationship managers, credit analysts and intern credit analysts, as applicable.
- Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of work produced by the team, including serving as a lending resource for the team by assisting with structure, analysis and review of new and renewed loan requests to help team achieve maximum success.
- Develop and implement departmental plans in conjunction with the corporate goals, plans and policies; develop and recommend loan and deposit portfolio goals for staff, including volume, interest rate and pricing criteria.
- Develop the appropriate talent pool; build accountable and supportive relationships; recognize that team success equates personal success and create a positive and beneficial working environment for the team; ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.
- Responsible for providing subordinate employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
- Conduct performance related quarterly check-in conversations and annual written performance reviews; prepare annual salary increase recommendations and bonus recommendations, as appropriate.
- Provide approval for work hours, vacations, leaves and absences, expense reports and other day-to-day responsibilities.
Relationship Manager – Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Develops business loan and deposit relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Responsible for developing and managing a loan and deposit portfolio of key customers and prospective customers for the Bank, specializing in serving privately held businesses and high net worth individuals in business and real estate related loans.
- Promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
- Interviews prospective applicants and requests specified information related to loan or credit application; corresponds or re-interviews applicants to resolve questions regarding application information.
- Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within the framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Coordinates processing of approved new and renewed loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within his or her portfolio; approves loan disbursements, payments and transfers in accordance with agreements and specified limits.
- Authorizes commitment, engagement, adverse action and decline letters.
- Understands government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations and the fact that compliance with BSA regulations is an enterprise responsibility.
- May represent the bank in community or at civic functions to promote Bank image and bank products and services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Commercial banking experience of at least 10 years
