SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other

organization guests. This role will also assist with managing standard office supply inventories, setting up and

preparing conference rooms, and providing support to create a welcoming environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts

him or her to the appropriate location.

• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
• Oversee and place orders to maintain the standard office supply inventory
• Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
• Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
• Performs other duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Professional appearance is required in this position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment and business casual attire. This role routinely uses standard

office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
