Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Acquisition Logistics Analyst to support PM AMSA. This position is based in Huntsville, AL. Job Responsibilities/Duties
Produce Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and annexes, including performance-oriented product support.
Generate type classification and materiel release documentation, ensuring compliance with US Army requirements and DA PAM 700-127.
Ensure compliance with US Army Type Classifications and material release requirements.
Develop and maintain AGSE Technical Manuals.
Assist in the creation of training materials and plans.
Conduct basis of issue planning (BOIP) for resource allocation.
Manage force development and maintenance of AGSE products.
Provide expertise on Army provisioning processes.
Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data including product availability, supply chain impacts, reliability, and sustainment support.
Develop and present briefing materials to senior leadership.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in program logistics documentation.
Required Experience
BS/BA degree and/or relevant work experience.
Application of Army Regulation 700-127 and DA PAM 700-127 in the acquisition process
Comprehensive understanding of the 12 Product Support elements within an Army program office.
Development of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and supporting documentation.
Familiarity with AR 770-3 Type Class/Material release processes and documentation.
Knowledge of AR 770-2 for Procedures for Materiel Fielding.
Strong knowledge of Army publications production and processes.
Experience analyzing, developing, and implementing supportability strategies to reduce lifecycle operations and support costs.
Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Army Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Degree in Acquisition Logistics, Product Support Management, or related field.
Previous experience in logistics with PEO Aviation platforms.
