Aviva A Campus for Senior Life, offers a full continuum of care including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is an EXPERIENCED, energetic, friendly, compassionate and self-motivated individual who will support the efforts of the Life Enrichment department for all residents on the Benderson Skilled Nursing Campus.
Responsibilities
- Attend outings with residents
- Maintain active reports, and resident sign ups and interest surveys.
- Connect and build relationships with residents and vendors
- Encourage resident participation in activities
- Assist in the set up and break down of events
- Create flyers, presentations, etc. in Microsoft Office programs
- Operate AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, speaker systems, etc.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a skilled nursing environment.
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills - Microsoft programs
- Organized
- Must be very detail-oriented
- Great with deadlines
- Ability to seek out events and programs appropriate to senior residents.
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to multi-tasking and event planning
- Demonstrated positive, customer-focused approach to daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
- Encourage and empower seniors to have a fuller, more enriched quality of living.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
