Shift Details:
We are currently searching for a Resident Assistant to join the following shift: 7am - 3pm and 11pm - 7am. Please note, this may change throughout employment as needed with notice.
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders.
Adhering to the narcotic and PRN policy of Aviva Senior Living.
Reporting any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
Maintaining resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
Following the schedule of the resident's needs set out by the supervisor.
Providing emotional and social support to residents.
Adhering to all policies and procedures of the community.
Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Regular and predictable attendance daily.
Qualifications, skills, and abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
One year of related work experience preferred
Skilled in caring for residents with memory impairments and secondary diagnosis.
Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion.
Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations
Strong knowledge and understanding of state regulations
Ability to read and write in English
