POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resource Generalist works in implementing processes and programs that advance effective retention of the company's most important asset: our family members.
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
•Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
•Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
•Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees.
•Support the implementation of performance management systems and processes.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
•Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
•Ensure that HR policies are communicated and adhered to by all employees.
•Support the performance review process by coordinating evaluations and providing guidance to managers and employees.
•Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and practices.
•Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies and goals.
•Assist in addressing performance-related issues and implementing improvement plans.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar HR position.
•Ability to show thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
•Experience using Paylocity or comparable payroll system, and/or a Learning Management System is preferred.
