Title: Global Sales Support Specialist

Pay Rate: $30.00 - 33.00/hour (based on experience)

Work Location: 100% onsite in Santa Clara, CA

40 hours/week

5 x 8-Hour Days

Duration: 5 month contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion

Position Overview:

The Global Sales Support Specialist (GSS) resides within our client's Finance organization and fulfills a variety of key support functions to help ensure revenue attainment. This role is crucial for supporting our client's Field Sales Team, managing complex deals, and ensuring efficient and accurate sales operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Field Sales Team with quoting of complex deals and advising on product configuration rules.
• Educate and assist on one-off quotes to order inquiries.
• Facilitate short-term marketing sales promotions.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure deals are progressing.
• Conduct training sessions for the Field Sales Team on Quote to Order processes, procedures, and SFDC (Salesforce) systems.
• Identify system gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate for resolution.
• Manage Global Sales Support activities with accuracy and speed via a shared mailbox.
• Prioritize requests based on revenue acquisition, customer relationship building, and timing requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• 2-5 years of related experience in sales support or sales operations environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, distributors, and resellers.
• Proficiency with Google products.
• Experience in CRM systems preferred (Salesforce CPQ and Steelbrick highly preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated initiative.
• Ability to independently handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours depending on month-end or quarter-end workload.
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts to accommodate global requests.
