We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Migration Engineer to lead the migration of on-premises applications to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud platform. This role involves setting up Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), configuring routers, deploying applications in Kubernetes, and leveraging hands-on experience with Amazon C2S and SC2S environments. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines and designing VPC network architectures. This ia Hybrid Role, 2-3 days on site in Suitland, Maryland. Candidates must have an TS/SCI clearance.Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of on-premises applications to the AWS Cloud platform, including Amazon C2S and SC2S environments.
• Set up and configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and routers to ensure seamless operations in both classified and unclassified environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and streamline the development process.
• Build and deploy applications in Kubernetes within the AWS environment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Architect VPC network architectures to support the needs of various applications and workloads.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members throughout the migration process.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, particularly TS/SCI requirements.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience totaling 15 years or more.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, with a focus on AWS Cloud Platform and classified environments (Amazon C2S and SC2S).
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and features, including VPCs, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon C2S and SC2S environments, including familiarity with security controls and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in building and deploying applications in Kubernetes.
• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
• Expertise in VPC network architecture design and implementation.
• Preferred: Previous experience as an Amazon Solution Architect.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
