Design complex projects. Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. Develop plans, specifications, inspection reports, construction schedules, permits, and designs. Prepare project budgets. Layout and design roadways including plan and profiles, utilities, and horizontal/vertical curves. Prepare complex drainage models in SSA using HEC 1, SCS and Rational methods to analyze total peak discharge and create pipe networks. Prepare technical drainage reports following city/county standards. Design and size underground storage systems including infiltration and bypass flows. Prepare and analyze water modeling including reservoirs, pumps, pressure valves, and pipe networks. Prepare master plan concept and final design for utility outfall and extension, including sewer lift station and pipe capacity. Prepare computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates. Oversee mandrel tests and pressure tests.
Requires: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, plus 1 year of experience in job offered, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), MS Office, and Excel.
