ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Our Low-Voltage Field Installation Technician role offers you the opportunity to build a diverse skillset, gain valuable experience in an evolving and in-demand industry through exposure to a variety of industry-leading technology alongside our team of experienced integrated systems professionals. This is a client-facing role, therefore solid customer service skills and a collaborative and professional demeanor is imperative. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet all Position Requirements as listed below.
  • Review customer requirements and collaborate with all team members to gather required information to execute project efficiently.
  • Install cable and equipment infrastructures; install communication equipment; install of medical equipment; cable termination; testing and labeling.
  • Adhere to all applicable fire, life safety and building codes including manufacturer instructions, safety codes and standards of local building code compliance requirements.
  • Conduct field reviews and surveys to verify accuracy of completed design.
  • Perform battery/load calculations for wiring and other components.
  • Interpret architect drawings/specifications, blueprints, and construction documents, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Plans and coordinates stock and material for installation and project execution including tool and asset inventory, tracking and maintenance.
  • Meet client and customer needs and support efficient project management via excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Align with all safety policies and protocols during on-site visits.
  • Perform other assigned duties as requested by immediate supervisor and/or management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet all Position Requirements as listed below.
  • Installation of copper and fiber cables, related support and Firestop Systems
  • Installation of cable and equipment infrastructures
  • Installation of communication equipment
  • Installation of medical equipment
  • Cable termination, testing and labeling.
  • Proper Project Survey, installation and documentation
  • Tool and asset inventory, tracking and maintenance.
  • Customer Service and satisfaction
  • Assign daily task to the team members.
  • Report daily and weekly progress to company Project Manager and customer provided contact.
  • Manage company resources efficiently to maximize performance and ensure project success.
  • Manage and maintain company vehicle according to company policies.
  • Create and submit expenses report.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and the customer.
  • Inspect all work perform by team members.
BASIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation.
  • Occasional mandatory travel outside of your Hub territory, as required to meet client demand and deadlines.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Must have a Clean Driving Record for the past 3 years (No suspensions within the last 3 years).
  • Ability to share a hotel room while travelling.
  • Comfortable with heights and stable on a ladder.
  • Ability to carry 75 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and routine drug tests.
  • Ability to ensure our 100% Tobacco, Vape AND Drug Free work environment.
