Education Requirements And Basic Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical/Biological Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry or relevant scientific discipline with 2 years of biotechnology or cell therapy industry experience
- Either Upstream bioprocessing experience including aseptic technique, bioreactor operation and primary recovery OR Downstream bioprocessing experience using chromatography and tangential flow filtration
- Strong scientific or technical writing skills
- Excellent documentation and data management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize work across multiple projects
- Experience with BOTH Upstream bioprocessing experience including aseptic technique, bioreactor operation and primary recovery AND Downstream bioprocessing experience using chromatography and tangential flow filtration
- Experience with Pilot scale bioprocessing equipment greater than 50 liter capacity
- Experience with Adeno Associated Virus upstream and downstream production and technology transfer
