Maintenance / Robot Technician

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who can maintain processes for a variety of CNC machines, such as Multi Axis Lathes, Grinders, Horizontal & Vertical Mills, processes and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate must have a complete understanding of Controls, Motors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics Finishing and Paint Systems. They must also have a good working knowledge of Fanuc Robotics & Electrical principles. Responsibilities:

· Use blueprints, specifications, work orders, drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances to troubleshoot equipment.

· Maintain Fanuc Robots from install to production support.

· Repair and verify processes with the goal of lights out production.

· Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions in Fanuc robots and develop new cells.

· Use lean manufacturing principles to drive maintenance and preventative process improvements.

· Adhere to all company, local, state, federal protocol, and safety regulations.

· Actively participate with multiple department personnel in regular preventative measures for issues during the life of the process.

· Actively engage operators in preventative improvement efforts and accurately document daily process issues.

· Accomplish company objectives via accepting responsibilities for completing innovative and new requests while also exploring value adding opportunities.

· Approach all tasks assigned with a positive can-do attitude.

· Create and maintain shop documentation to include preventative, predictive maintenance work instructions.

· Maintaining an efficient, clean, and organized workspace.

· Hand machining skills a plus.

· Actively work with machine vendors service and deal with warranty and service issues.

· Have a working knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, Valves, Motors, Cylinders, Electrical Principals, Robotics, Bearings, Gears, Belts, Networking, Grease Applications, Cooling and Refrigeration. Paint Processes, Welding Mig, Tig, Stick, Laser.

Qualifications:

· BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or Technical related field or Degree from vocational school preferred.

· At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing as a maintenance technician in a CNC environment preferred.

· Understanding of work order systems, and MS Office.

· Understanding wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring.

· Experience with maintaining and complex troubleshooting of 5 axis Fanuc Robots, CNC Mills, Lathes, and Okuma CNC Mills.

· Experience maintaining facilities equipment a plus.

· Must be a motivated self-starter and able to work without constant supervision.
