Axis' Solutions & Services organization is seeking a Team Lead, Solutions Acceleration to join our growing team in the Americas.
In this role, you'll manage a team responsible for generating awareness and demand for Axis' software & NVR solutions and new business technologies in order to meet our ambitious growth goals. You will develop strategic business plans and manage a team, including remote teammates, to ensure market success.
You will oversee a team responsible for cross-functional alignment with; distribution, national systems integrators, enterprise end-customers, vertical markets, the Axis ecosystem and professional services. This role collaborates with Axis leadership in the Americas and at Axis HQ in Sweden to successfully attain revenue growth targets for the Americas.
The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, and passionate about what Axis as to offer. Applicants should have experience influencing a team of diverse individuals across departments and geographies. The selected individual will be based out of our Americas HQ in Chelmsford, MA as a preferred location. Qualified remote candidates considered, provided a candidate is proximate to an airport and can perform job responsibilities during Eastern Time Zone (ET) business hours. This position reports to the Manager, Solutions Acceleration.
What you'll do here as Team Lead, Solutions Acceleration?
  • Lead the team in developing the strategy and an operational plan to increase market penetration of our video management platforms, door solutions and audio portfolio
    • Includes strategies related to; distribution, channel partner program including technology specializations, national system integrators, enterprise end-customers, vertical market segments, consultants, the Axis ecosystem, integrations, professional services & product supportability
  • Lead team to work with various stakeholders across the Americas and Sweden to provide compelling programs, initiatives and strategies, to increase market demand - including alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • With team, build concise and focused strategies, plans & goals for each of Axis' key target groups in alignment with company go-to-market strategy
  • Build & execute plans in accordance with team strategic objectives, KPIs and goals. Review of global business plans and responsibility for driving the Americas playbook
  • Develop team members to maintain and grow customer & partner relationships to support Americas sales efforts, drive opportunities, and provide feedback to increase the value of offering
  • Trade show & industry event participation
  • Provide appropriate reporting and tracking of progress
  • Manage employee development plans, evaluate performance, identify areas of development, and close gaps. Act as a bearer of our company culture
  • Align with global teams responsible for portfolio alignment and success
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
  • Long term strategy and project management skills
  • Experience understanding the needs of partners and customers and translating those needs into long-term business strategy and short-term actions
  • Proven track record of success and success working in a fast-paced environment supporting sales goals
  • Proven experience in setting priorities in response to changes in market or strategy and creating/driving a strategic, growth-oriented agenda
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Proven coaching-oriented leadership style including leading through periods of change
  • Experience with a collaborative approach to coaching team members. A leader who empowers others, holds them accountable, and gains satisfaction from others' success
  • High level of technical aptitude, emotional intelligence, self-awareness and resiliency
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
  • Solid track record, with sound personal values in sync with our core values
  • Demonstrated competency in Axis' Expectations of Leaders:

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in Sales, Marketing or Business development in the Video Surveillance Market, ideally working with a variety of security solutions
  • Experience with Sales Force or similar CRM platform
  • Solid command and experience with the Microsoft 365 suite of products
Physical Demands and Travel:

  • Expected travel time for this position is 50% including international
Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this location and position is $130-140K annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
