Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite)
Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.
Position Overview
This position involves collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams in North America, particularly focusing on Mexico, to enhance process technologies and develop manufacturing blueprints for both engineering builds and mass production. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical preferred) and at least 4 years of experience in PPAP, APQP, or shop floor management. Key technical skills include proficiency in PPAP, APQP, and familiarity with 6 Sigma. Fluency in Spanish is advantageous. Job Responsibilities
Drive supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement.
Provide leadership for the supplier quality department.
Oversee the supplier quality team and establish quality control objectives.
Ensure all regulatory and company requirements are met by suppliers.
Perform quality system audits.
Maintain supplier quality records.
Maintain relationships with suppliers.
Promote initiatives to improve quality.
Education & Experience Required
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering required (electrical preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of PPAP, APQP, or shop floor experience.
Technical Skills Required
PPAP, APQP
Strong technical and computer skills.
Knowledge of 6 Sigma is a plus.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
