Position DescriptionAre you a skilled Chemist/Toxicologist looking for a temporary opportunity to showcase your expertise? We have a six-month onsite contract available in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves assisting with method development, optimization, and validation of analytical Toxicology methods. You will be responsible for standard and sample preparation using an automated liquid handler, sample analysis on Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatography Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Liquid Chromatography High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS). Additionally, you will handle data reprocessing and documentation tasks, including writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and validation reports.

Skills Required
- Proficiency in pipetting and troubleshooting
- Experience with Agilent Liquid Chromatography, Sciex Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Thermo Gas Chromatography Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Thermo Liquid Chromatography High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) analytical instrumentation
- Familiarity with SciexOS, Tracefinder, Xcalibur, FreeStyle, and Chromeleon software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical chemistry environment
- Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, GC-QQQ, LC-HRMS, etc.)
- Previous involvement in method development and validation
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or Biology
- Completion of at least 6 courses in Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Physical Chemistry)
