Axle is seeking a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to manage and optimize assigned operational functions. The successful candidate will oversee facilities operations and corporate events. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in project planning, project execution, communications and problem solving. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated an aptitude to learn new technologies, managing related data, and presenting reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities 
  • Facility Operations
  • Oversee Facility operations at multiple locations.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Develop long term facilities plan.
  • Conduct regular assessments of office procedures to identify inefficiencies and enact necessary improvements.
  • Event Management and Coordination
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive corporate event calendar.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify events across the organization and ensure purpose, resources and event logistics are considered.
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for catering, décor, entertainment, and other event services.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships and agreements with external partners/vendors.
  • Utilize data and metrics to evaluate overall performance, providing insightful analysis and interpretation.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative solutions, automations, and best practices to optimize operational workflows.
  • Offer guidance and support to team members, nurturing their professional development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and enact corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain oversight of quality control measures to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality output.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Business Management, Operations Management, Operations Research)
  • Experience as an Operations Manager, or equivalent position.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, creative problem solver.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to protect sensitive information.
  • Knowledge and some experience in operational functions (e.g., facilities management, event management, data management/reporting etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with low code/no code technologies (e.g., MSFT Power Platform, MSFT 365 Dynamics)
