Overview

By Light is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at our manufacturing firm. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting various HR functions including employee relations, work injuries, benefits administration, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and have experience working with ADP or similar HRIS platforms. Responsibilities
    Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Provide support and guidance to supervisors and managers on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Assist in providing guidance and support to employees who have experienced work-related injuries, ensuring appropriate reporting, documentation, and follow-up procedures are followed.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Answer employee inquiries related to benefits and provided support during open enrollment periods.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations, completing necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure all necessary pre-employment checks and documentation are completed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws. Generate reports and analyze HR data as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations, and proactively recommend updates to company policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on special projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training and development, and HR process improvements.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field and 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification required.
  • Experience working with ADP or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
