Working as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Axxess Spa, you’ll play a key role providing our med spa clients with outstanding patient care while performing medical spa treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, laser hair removal, laser skin tightening, laser skin rejuvenation, laser spider veins treatments and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical spa injectable treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers
• Provide med spa treatments such laser hair removal, laser skin tightening, laser skin rejuvenation and laser treatments for spider veins
• Work autonomously with clients and evaluate client's suitability for treatments
• Administer med spa treatments in accordance with standard protocols and procedures
• Educate patients on treatment procedures and pre and post-care guidelines
• Complete all chart notes before end of shift, clearly recording necessary information for each patient visit
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and appearance of treatment rooms
• Comply with all company and Department of Health rules and regulations
• Active controlled substance registration for ordering products necessary for client medical spa cosmetic treatments
• Perform standard cleaning and maintenance care for lasers and equipment
• Help train and develop skills of new medical staff
• Build and/or refine standard protocols and procedures as needed
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code
• Collaborate with the med spa team to achieve day making client experiences
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted APRN Nurse Practitioner License
• Practicing as a CT Licensed APRN Nurse Practitioner for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to practice without collaborative agreement or apply to acquire one
• Active controlled substance registration for ordering products necessary for client medical spa cosmetic treatments
• Certification in family medicine
• Botox Certificate of training, or ability to acquire before beginning employment
• Dermal Filler Certificate of training, or ability to acquire before beginning employment
• Competent to administer neurotoxin cosmetic injections
• Competent to administer dermal filler cosmetic injections
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver and operate devices such as medical lasers
• Ability to perform sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching writing, typing, pinching, gripping, and manual dexterity for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to work in an environment which operates medical equipment such as lasers
• Ability to safely visually analyze skin for treatment suitability, for injections, and while operating lasers during treatment
• Ability to work two evening shifts per week from 4-7pm, and/or one Saturday shift every other week from 10am-1pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
