Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in need. This position requires experience in senior care and working with individuals with autism.

Duties:
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with transportation for appointments, outings, or errands

Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with autism is required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with assisted living and home care settings
- Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license
