Lead Software Architect

The Software Architect will act as the technical lead for the design and implementation of all our software products. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using their skills to contribute to a sustainable future and will have a keen interest in recent advancements in Generative AI to improve software development and maintenance. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end design and development process for all software products; 

• Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment; 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture; 

• Actively participate in coding and development activities to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of software products; 

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices; 

• Lead the design and architecture of software products, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure; 

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence; 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize code quality, system performance, and development efficiency; 

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software development and incorporate these into the company's technology stack; 

• Work closely with product managers, software developers, ML and Data engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives; 

• Prepare and present technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and project updates to senior management; 

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth; 

• Other duties as required or assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years as a Software Architect or in a similar technical leadership role; 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing data intensive applications; 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience collaborating with ML and optimization engineers; 

• Strong technical background with expertise in software design, development, and architecture; 

• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks; 

• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to using technology for a greener future; 

• Keen interest and knowledge in Generative AI and its applications in software development; 

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills; 

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; 

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapid growth and evolving technology environment. 

Compensation and Location:

Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience;

Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the overall success of the business;

Location: Remote (USA). The ability to work in the United States is a requirement;
