Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize physiology knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Perform sonography procedures as needed
- Administer tube feedings and monitor patient responses
- Adhere to hospital standards and protocols for patient care
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and management
- Coordinate home care services for patients requiring ongoing treatment
- Provide specialized care in toddler care and case management
Requirements:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred
- Proficiency in various hospital systems and electronic medical records
- Strong knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Ability to perform IV insertions accurately and efficiently
- Experience in home care or case management is a plus
