Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Assist with medication administration and documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in providing patient care in a healthcare setting preferred
