Azimuth is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Beavercreek, OH

Azimuth Corporation is seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join our Beavercreek, OH office team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role to enable quick integration with the rapidly growing team. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in all HR functions, contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. They will collaborate closely with leadership, managers, and employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and providing exceptional HR services.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Act as administrator for full employment life cycle including all administrative aspects of offers, on-boarding personnel, and terminations.
  • Set up new employee electronic files, including summary sheets and pay rate sheets.
  • Microsoft Outlook 365 administration of non-corporate emails for incoming employees.
  • Participate, either hands-on or in direction, in the coordination, planning, and execution of corporate events, both local and non-local.
  • Maintain spreadsheets of corporate-wide, or group human resource action responses (i.e., required training).
  • Manages company policies and procedures, compliance reporting, compensation, and benefits.
  • Manages HR system data analytics and reporting, as well as data accuracy.
  • Act as a point-of-contact with co-employment partner for routine items related to human resource/personnel matters and payroll matters.
  • Act as administrative facilitator for the performance evaluation process including issuance and collection of self-evaluations, interfacing with evaluating supervisors, ensuring completion of the process, and properly recording and maintaining records in paper and electronic files.
  • Assist with efforts related to employee engagement and satisfaction (e.g., surveys and results, polling, etc.).
  • Primary POC for post-hire and renewal of items due from employees including formatted resumes and position descriptions.
  • Track corporate anniversaries and awards; POC for ordering tenure awards.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining electronic recruiting records

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration & 3 years of Human Resources experience OR 7 years of Human Resources experience in lieu of degree.
  • Naturally self-driven and proactive.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creating a positive corporate image.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliances.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality regarding any PII or other corporate private/proprietary information to which the position may be exposed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the government/defense contracting industry.
  • Industry certification such as APHR, PHR/SHRM-CP

Physical Requirements / Travel

  • Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
  • May travel (domestically) ~5% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
