We are seeking a motivated individual to join our client's team as a Maintenance Technician Trainee in Aurora, IL.
The ideal candidate will have basic electrical and mechanical experience, along with minimal computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electronic repairs on all equipment, including printers and mail sorting equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to Mail Preparation Total Quality Management and vendor operating standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergency situations with a sense of urgency.
• Utilize inventory, preventive maintenance schedule, and work order systems while maintaining spare parts/supply inventory.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, completing repairs in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Little to moderate mechanical experience, with at least one year of break/fix mechanical experience preferred.
• Basic electrical experience.
• Minimal computer skills and familiarity with Windows PC environment preferred.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
• Ability to learn about equipment and its use quickly.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, and bending for extended periods (up to 80% of the time), with or without accommodations.

Shift: 1st
Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $24/hour
