The alarm technician will possess a strong a strong technical background in fire alarm and security systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.

Essential ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure and commission access controls, cameras, security systems, and associated devices in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
Program control panels and integrate various components to ensure optimal system functionality.
Test systems to verify proper operation and identify any potential issues.
Perform necessary repairs or replacements to maintain system reliability and performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or failures.
Document all service and repair activities accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.
Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices for safety and security.
Recommend and implement system upgrades and enhancements based on the latest technologies and client needs.
Retrofit existing systems to improve performance and compliance with current standards.
Assist in the design and engineering of custom security solutions for specific client requirements.
Ensure all work adheres to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Prepare and submit required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
Essential RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate degree preferred.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of ExperienceProficiency with fire alarm and security systems from various manufacturers.
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
Knowledge of windows software suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions.
Capacity to work in confined spaces and on ladders.
