Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework, associates or bachelors degree preferred
• Special needs experience preferred but not required
• Childcare experience preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check and drug testing

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy programs designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Keep children motivated to learn while creating a positive learning environment
• Collect accurate data as instructed and write progress notes after each session
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents
• Ability to work with confidential information and follow all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines related to client privacy
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting and crawling for extended periods of time
• Must have quick reflexes
• Must be able to sit on the floor, in a small chair, or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to manage challenging behaviors with support

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
