Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Inventory Clerk. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, Virginia, and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The successful applicant will be part of a team responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions at Azure Summit Technology. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes

- Primarily responsible for manual and automated inventory control actions.

- Performs and monitors administrative (and procedural application) of inventory control

-Assist with tagging and inventory control for Customer/Government property

- Computes and accumulates data for use in analysis.

- Analyzes reports and records activities, reports inefficiencies to supervisors and recommends corrective actions to improve operations.

- Inspects and identifies property. Inspects conditions of property received.

- Performs shelf-life inspections of stock.

- Prepares statements of facts surrounding property loss, damage, or destruction through causes other than fair wear and tear.

- Has the ability to stand on their feet for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours.

- Holds the ability to handle items (45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.

Basic Requirements

- US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of work

- Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of work and contract requirements

- High school diploma or GED

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the inventory process

- Valid Driver’s License required

Preferred Requirements

• Forklift/reach truck experience
• 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor
• Active SECRET security clearance
• Experience using Costpoint
• Class A CDL
• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
