Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Confluence Administrator/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and developing solutions within Confluence and JSM (Jira Service Management), with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing Confluence and JSM environments to support our organization’s needs.
Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Confluence spaces, permissions, and templates. Ensure optimal performance and security of the Confluence instance.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Confluence and JSM. Customize workflows, automate processes, and manage user permissions.
  • Create custom Confluence solutions, including plugins, macros, and templates. Design and implement workflows and automation in JSM to streamline processes.
  • Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner. Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for Confluence and JSM usage, including data management, security, and user access.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design and development experience with Confluence and JSM (Jira Service Management).
  • Scrum Certification required within 90 days of start date.
Required Skills
  • Expertise in Confluence administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Strong experience with JSM workflows, automation, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) and Atlassian APIs.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Confluence and JSM add-ons/plugins and their integration.
  • Experience with project management tools and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
Security Clearance
