For over 60 years, B & D Machine Works, Inc. has been providing metal fabrication and machine shop services to a variety of industries and customers. We are seeking a Machinery Mechanic to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble malfunctioning or damaged machines, performing repairs or replacing worn or broken parts
• Test machines to confirm the presence or absence of issues, making recommendations for continued operation based on the results
• Observe the operation of manufacturing machinery, paying attention to small details and symptoms to identify issues that need correcting
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

​ Qualifications:

• 1 year previous experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Experienced in cylinder rebuilds, replacing bearings, shrink fits, gears, gearboxes, equipment assembly, etc.
