B&H Photo is looking for an Applications Integrations Lead/ Manager who can bring strategy and hands-on skills to implement an integration technology (like Mulesoft etc.). The successful candidate will combine analytical ability, technical integration skills, and project management principals to develop and lead data integration initiatives. This will include selecting the appropriate integration approach and applying sound technical management and development skills throughout the delivery lifecycle to produce high quality solutions.The Application Integration Lead will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of application interfaces, data flows, and APIs, utilizing both vendor delivered services and internal API management tools. This includes transitioning legacy data feeds to SaaS-oriented integration technologies, providing seamless data flow among on premise and hosted applications.ResponsibilitiesWork with the various application leads to understand their existing environments and existing integrations and document all external and internal integrations. Put a plan together on how to implement them in a centralized integration environment and propose the correct technology to be used to managed all integrations in a centralized way.Help define the integration and dataflow architecture and evaluate vendor web services and API capabilities. Identify gaps in available integration services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolve.Deliver the required systems integration solutions for a new business solution replacement and platform change, ensuring continuity and security of the systems, data, and business services during the conversion.Help assess future API management tools, vetting capabilities against requirements and performing validation activities as requiredContribute to development and management of external-facing API layer for business partner integration; e.g. mobile apps, third-party applications and services.Collaborate with support teams to resolve production incidents and proactively seek opportunities to develop preventative measures to avoid recurrenceFoster strong team skills and culture for improving application integration techniquesQualificationsHaving been part of a centralized integration team in a leadership and hands on capacity.Having gone through some transformation initiatives and having used integration technologies to successfully integrate systems (example ERP, WMS, E-Comm etc)A minimum of 7 years of experience successfully delivering high performing application solutions that meet scope, cost, and date parametersA minimum of 5 years of experience in software development utilizing a variety ofcommon system integration methods and technologies including web services, SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, XML, automated testing frameworks, and orchestration toolsExpertise in comparing integration approaches and assessing their relative strengths and limitations in terms of meeting business goalsExperience developing integrations in several technologies and languages such as Microsoft .NET, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python, as well as scripting in Linux and WindowsExperience working with relational databases and SQL supporting legacy integration techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to customer serviceHighly motivated with very strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a teamFlexibility to balance competing initiatives, multi-task between project development and customer support, and adapt to changing business and technical requirementsExperience working in and contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative environment that values positive, collegial relationships among co-workersExperience with a leading customer relationship management platform such as Salesforce or Microsoft DynamicsProficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Web APIExperience with marketing or fundraising business processesFamiliarity with WSO2 or MuleSoftExperience with Agile methodologies, as well as more traditional structured approachesExperience with a version control system such as SVN or GitFamiliarity with ServiceNowExperience in a higher education setting
