Warehouse Shipper 2 Essential Responsibilities:Large Shipping job duties include but are not limited to the following:Unload merchandise from trucks and move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stockingLoad or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandiseAssist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxesStock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s ordersPack and seal boxes following standard proceduresUse of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system Additional Responsibilities:Additional tasks as assigned by managementSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistanceExtended periods of standing/walking (10 hours/day)Attention to detail and ability to countMust be able to locate and identify specific itemsMust be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer systemMust be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures Required Schedule:Monday-Friday 8 AM – 4 PM **Eligibility contingent upon background screening
