About Us: B&L Transport, Inc. is dedicated to providing top-notch services to our customers. We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Parts Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary parts. Maintain accurate inventory records and order parts as needed to meet repair demands while avoiding overstocking.

· Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices, discounts and ensure timely delivery of parts.

· Quality Control: Evaluate the quality and reliability of suppliers to ensure B&L receives high-quality products.

· Parts Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality parts to meet the needs of our service and repair operations including hard to find specialty parts.

· Budget Management: Develop and manage the parts department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

· Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, parts department performance, and budget adherence.

· Sorting/Organizing: Sort and place parts on racks, shelves and bins according to predetermined part-number sequence and mark items with identifying information.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in parts management or a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

· Ability to manage budgets and prepare detailed reports.

· Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 70lbs and properly operate lift trucks/other warehousing equipment.

· Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
