About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and support design & development of our next-generation Merchant acquiring for Servicing & operations technology. In this role, you will: Support the design, architecture, development & Integration of Merchant Payment servicing and operations platforms ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and user experience objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of Merchant acquiring servicing platform, optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring the throughput and SLA requirements for payments. Required Qualifications: 3 years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education. 3 years of Proven experience in software development, with a focus on building servicing experiences with digital first architecture mindset. 2 years of Strong expertise in leading the design and build of micro front end architecture and React UI components. 2 years of Solid understanding of hybrid cloud technologies (Azure, Google), microservices architecture, and API integrations Desired Qualifications: Merchant Acquiring, payment gateways, PCI, credit decisioning, Risk & Fraud management, funding, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, case management, IVR, Point of Sale (POS) configuration & device integration. Good working experience with Pega BPM, React UI, Java J2EE, Kafka, Azure components, third party integrations. Good understanding of Design Patterns and Best Practices Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering projects on time.
