It will draw on the technical, organizational, risk, regulatory and interpersonal skills of a highly motivated and experienced individual. A successful candidate will operate independently while influencing multiple functionally and geographically diverse teams. In this role, you will: Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs, and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term risk mitigation and control strategies on behalf of the business Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks which require understanding of business-specific knowledge related to financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT, systems security, business process management, and applicable business acumen Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, multi-faceted, long-term, or companywide strategies Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership Identify, mitigate and remediate non-financial risk and report this through the appropriate enterprise systems and processes Required Qualifications: 7 years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4 years of experience of implementing DevOps, DevSecOps, or Reliability Engineering principles in financial services Desired Qualifications: Experience in the implementation, operation and consistent improvement of complex IT services Knowledge of common industry tooling for automation and orchestration of IT systems at scale Knowledge of one or more line of businesses from Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking or Investment Banking Experience in the automation of release pipelines using Continuous Integration and Deployment principles and common toolsets ITIL, Project Mgt, Risk & Control frameworks, business experience across payments, trading and commercial banking Experience with program and project management practices Knowledge and experience of working using Agile methodology Experience managing operational data in order to measure past performance and forecast future risk Understanding of operational and technology resiliency, and applications of design patterns, tools, and practices to implement the same. Knowledge of common observability, automation, software engineering, testing and service management tools and practices Knowledge of and experience of working with the ITIL® framework Knowledge of integration engineering, performance engineering, capacity management Job Expectations: Ability to work onsite in the office in a hybrid model.
